Photography Services

The following terms apply to all photography services provided by Loren Matzick unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

 

Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed once both parties have agreed to the project and any required invoice or retainer has been received. Invoices are due according to the payment terms stated on the invoice. Final edited images will not be delivered until the outstanding balance has been paid in full unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your session, please provide as much notice as possible. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate a new date based on availability. Sessions affected by severe weather or circumstances beyond either party’s control may be rescheduled without penalty.

 

Image Delivery

Final photographs are professionally edited and delivered through a private online gallery. Typical delivery time is 1–2 weeks, although larger commercial assignments may require additional editing time. Estimated delivery dates will be communicated when applicable.

 

Editing & RAW Files

Every delivered image is individually selected and professionally edited to reflect Loren Matzick’s creative style and quality standards. RAW or unedited files are not included unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

 

Copyright & Usage Rights

Loren Matzick retains the copyright to all photographs. Upon full payment, clients receive a non-exclusive license to use the delivered images for their intended personal or business purposes, including websites, social media, digital marketing, print materials, and promotional content.

Images may not be resold, transferred to third parties, entered into stock photography libraries, or used beyond the originally intended purpose without prior written permission. Extended commercial licensing may be required for national advertising campaigns, product packaging, large-scale paid advertising, resale, or other high-volume commercial uses.

 

Portfolio Use

Unless otherwise requested in writing before the session, Loren Matzick reserves the right to display photographs for portfolio, website, social media, editorial, competition, educational, and promotional purposes. If confidentiality is required, this can be discussed before the project begins.

 

Limitation of Liability

Reasonable care is taken throughout every project. In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, accident, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected photography services.
